This overwrought deconstruction of something quite obvious to most people is basically a standard complaint about colleges.

Well, I'd be fine if someone were teaching a one-off seminar on this, but it's a mandatory training! Evil.
Yeah, but people need to pad their resumes.
So they create things like this.
