Ooh, how exciting! I want it to be a greeting, something close to “Namaste, God” I think. Or maybe it could be adjective-ivized: like, “A godly namaste.”
Gotcha, so first to look at the word choice (this is just from an online dictionary, but a Latin-teacher-approved one!) I think you may reconsider your diction:
Divus is the term for a lowercase g god
Divinus is an adjective meaning godly or god inspired
Deus is the tern for monotheistic, capital G God
Dominus is more accurately translated to lord, in the sense of a title, a god, or an owner. While I doubt you’ll come across anyone who cares to get into the semantics of your inside joke, myself excluded I guess, it’s worth noting.
Ha, thanks! "Namaste Divinus" could work well then. But I like "dominus" since it sounds so prayer-y. Also I've said it enough to him by now that an instinct's built up. Doubtful any change could be made without a lot of effort.
imo hs bullshit mostly does end in college but youll want it back 😢
What are you trying to conjugate it into? I have very basic Latin conjugating knowledge.

Fair enough, thanks for inspiring me to look back at my Latin notes
